On March 26th, the God’s Messengers Dance Company along with staff and volunteers will bring to stage the fourth annual performance of one of the most unique and inspirational shows ever performed in St. George. Our concert is titled “God’s Messengers: a Dancing Tribute to the Life of Jesus Christ.” The theme of the show explores the different elements and events of Jesus Christ’s life on earth. They are some of the same elements which help us still today to find happiness and hope in this turbulent world. With a common goal to uplift and inspire, the company is dedicated to making this a positive and memorable event for all who attend. It is sure to be a night of inspiration as we relive great events in Jesus Christ’s life through dance.
Tickets for this event will cost $10.00 per person prior to the concert and $15.00 at the door. We are offering a special group rate of $8.00 per person for groups of 15-25 people and $5.00 per person for groups with 26 or more.

Practices

God's Messengers' practices started in October! We have been going every week up to Christmas. These rehearsals are unique when compared with an average dance company's rehearsal. Where most companies are sweating it out with push ups, sit ups, plies, leaps, and extensive stretching; we are doing that too, but we also bring the spirit of Christ's gospel with us. After our grueling warm up we pray, share a scripture or spiritual thought, and jump into learning choreography. This choreography is special. Each new piece learned has been created to depict something from the life and mission of Jesus Christ. The choreographers find scriptural references from the New Testament of the Bible and let those verses, chapters, or parables be the inspiration for their movement. God's Messengers has provided an amazing outlet for dancers who have a strong belief in Jesus Christ as they have the opportunity to share that through their dancing.
